"I travel 70 miles to see Dr. Grote for Prolotherapy. I went from being on high daily doses of ibuprofen for four years and being unable to walk to NO painkillers at all for a year now, and I walk 2 miles 3-4 days a week."

Dr. Walter Grote has been practicing prolotherapy since 2001 and has been on the Board of the American Osteopathic Association of Prolotherapy and Regenerative Medicine since 2002. A former national wrestling champion, 1976 Olympic Alternate and sports coach, Dr. Grote understands the injuries athletes sustain and the importance of healing the body safely and naturally, oftentimes leading to a more rapid recovery, less down time, and usually with less risk than the surgical alternative. Dr. Grote has been practicing prolotherapy since 2001, longer then any other prolotherapy or PRP practitioner in northern NJ.
Using prolotherapy, PRP (platelet-rich plasma), stem cell therapy, and other regenerative medicine result in a spectacular alternative to surgery. Because these therapies are low-risk and have a short recovery time, they are ideal for people with active lifestyles. The best thing of all – it’s natural healing! The innovative procedures involve injecting an enriched substance (consisting of your own body’s platelet-rich plasma or stem cells and other growth factors) into the affected tissue, triggering a mild inflammatory response by the body that yields safe healing and strengthening to the torn or injured tissue.
Dr. Walter Grote has treated patients of every age in a compassionate, professional manner. His clientele has included chronic pain sufferers, those that have experienced sports injuries, and more. Chronic pain sufferers have gone on to avoid surgery altogether and forge a new lease on life, while athletes have been successfully treated and returned to their game quicker than ever. No matter the extent of the injury or pain, we can create a treatment individualized for you.
